Deep beneath the sea lives a secret society of stunning seals, whose porpoise is to ensure that the relations between sea creatures and land creatures remain civil. To this end, they have created a humanoid robot with the singing capabilities of fifty mermaids, who the seal council has named Seal, to associate their species with the voice that would capture the hearts of all land creatures capable of speech.

Their genius plan worked, to an extent, as Seal the robotic singer enthralled human hearts far and wide with its melody worthy of a thousand songbirds. Alas, the plan to enchant all land animals did not work, for most delightful doggos and clawtastic kitties seemed to not care for Seal, to the seals' disappointment. They did, however, manage to enchant some of the beautiful bird buddies in the sky with Seal's melodious tunes, which sealed the deal for aquatic and avian relations.
